Risk Factors and Treatment for obesity Review Article

Obesity is one of the most common metabolic problems causing many diseases. Nowadays, the prevalence of obesity has increased not only in developed countries but also in developing countries. The aim of this review article is to evaluate the affecting factors of obesity and its treatment. The present study is a review study that has used information banks and scientific search engines such as Pubmed and Elsevier using keyword like: obesity, exercise, and appetite and weight control. The articles were chosen by clinical trial plans. The articles used were ranged from 1997 to 2014. The evidence showed that obesity can be caused by genetic and hormone disorders, incorrect eating habits, inactivity, inefficient lifestyle and the malfunctioning of socio-cultural environment are of the effective factors of the prevalence of obesity and overweight.
