Herbal Remedies for Respiratory Diseases among the Natives of Madhya Pradesh, India

Abstract

Respiratory complaints are very common health problem and increasing alarmingly with the rise of air pollution. Modern allopathic medicines have so far not produced any curative drug for respiratory problems. It only gives symptomatic relief for a short duration. Traditional herbal medicines, however, has some specific herbs which can cure many of the pulmonary complaints from their root. The present paper deals with some of the herbal remedies for respiratory diseases among native of Madhya Pradesh, India.
